What We Believe

The existence of our Almighty God,

The existence of the Trinity: God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

The divine inspiration of the Old and New Testaments,

The unrighteousness of humankind without God’s grace,

Pre-destined according to the fore knowledge of God,

The divinity of Christ and His death and resurrection for the redemption of our sins,

Justification comes by faith and walking in the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ,

The fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control),

The work of the Holy Spirit in renewal, transformation and sanctification,

The second and glorious appearing of our Lord and Saviour,

The resurrection of the dead,

The judgement,

That the wages of sin are death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord,

The baptism by immersion of believers in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

The Lord’s Supper as commemorative of His death and in accordance with His command,

The church, a company of believers voluntarily associated for mutual enlightenment and support,

The spreading of the Good News of Christ in all lands,

Assembling on the first day of the week for the ministry of the Word and the observance of the Christian ordinances,

The Word of God, a complete and infallible rule of faith and of practice,

The separation of church and state and the largest possible measure of civil and religious liberty for all,

The independence and democracy of the local church, in education for individual evangelism, and in the world-wide missionary endeavour, and

The capability of the soul to find immediate and unrestricted access to God and communion with Him, without the aid of any intermediary, save Christ alone.
