COVID-19: The “WHO” World Health Organization declared COVID 19 over as a global health Emergency. However, that does not mean COVID 19 is over as a global health threat.

Women’s Mission Circle

In the late 1800s, Baptist Women began to organize themselves in circles of support for Missions. Meeting monthly, the women prayed not only for local work but also for the needs of the world at large. Offerings supported the work of Missionaries as well as special projects in Canada and overseas.

The Women’s Mission Circle at United Baptist Church (Currie McPhail Circle) continues this work. Monthly offerings and our annual Christmas Brunch fundraiser support the work of the Baptist Women’s Division of Ontario and Quebec, International Projects in collaboration with Canadian Baptist Ministries, and local needs… all targeting vulnerable women and children. Over the years, we have become more aware and have learned about the needs of others in our community… using our gifts, striving to let our light shine.

All are welcome to join us in Christian friendship, to learn about God’s work around the world, and to support opportunities to ‘love our neighbours’.

Young Adults Network

If you are young and looking for opportunities to maximize your God-given potentials and gain inspiration for fulfilling your life purpose, then this is the place for you.

We will be holding leadership training, mentoring and career development seminars for youth and young adults, many who are within our church proximity at the College and University and most are new to Canada needing guidance to settle into Canada.

In 2021, UBC youth leaders are working on a strategy to engage youth through social media, and outreach. Social media strategy includes music, videos and engagement in church activities. With a total of 20 active youth members, plans are underway for job outreaches, career fairs and employment preparedness.

These and more questions to address in The United Baptist Men of Honour network. Men get together to revitalize one another with life-giving principles from the word of God. Please join us; calling all men to make a difference.
